What they do
Under the direction of Bishop Jeremiah J. Park, Susquehanna Conference‘s focus is on helping clergy and laypersons access tools, resources, and training to consequently achieve their mission. This mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by training and deploying spiritual transformational leaders. They also work by equipping local churches with effective tools and resources to assist them in their disciple-making mission. Finally, to lift up God’s gift of “connectionalism” at all levels of the church to empower their transformational work.
The Susquehanna Conference offices are located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with seven district offices in the cities of Altoona, Harrisburg (Mechanicsburg), Lewisburg, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, State College, Williamsport, and York.
Furthermore, their seven districts house around 870 churches. In total, these churches have almost 150,000 members. In addition, these churches appointed nearly 580 pastors to serve them.
