Tom Ambler
Meet Tom Ambler, our President and CEO. Tom is responsible for setting the vision of the organization and leading DDI to continued growth. His role varies between ensuring client delight, reporting, participating as a member of the Board of Directors, and budgeting and forecasting.
How Tom Joined DDI
We’re so thankful that a recruiter connected Tom to DDI 12 years ago! Over the past few years, Tom impacted DDI in many ways. He continues to impact DDI as the current President and CEO.
Favorite Part about DDI
Amongst the many things Tom loves about DDI, his favorite thing is the relationships he’s built with his staff, clients, and partners. According to Tom, “Seeing the staff flourish is a fantastic part of being at DDI, as well as seeing our client organizations reaching their goals.”
Greatest Accomplishment at DDI So Far
Tom has many praise-worthy accomplishments. However, from Tom’s perspective, his two greatest accomplishments at DDI are meeting interesting people that are helping the world be a better place and working with many clients that benefit from DDI’s services.
Likes
Some of the things that Tom likes include traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys working with clients to achieve their mission.
Dislikes
A couple of things that Tom dislikes include clutter, yardwork, and time wasted by duplicating efforts. For Tom, efficiency is key.
Inspiration

For Tom, this piece of inspiration reminds him that, if you tell yourself that you can’t do something, you won’t do it, but if you believe that you can do something, you will have the power to see it through.
In short, we don’t know where DDI would be today without Tom! He leads by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a passion for our clients. Thank you, Tom, for all you do for DDI!
