Dear Clients,
I am extremely pleased and excited to share this status update with you on the development of the Next Generation of DDI-Connect™.
First and foremost: the development of Release 1 of NextGen remains on track for a Q1, 2018 completion!
Moreover, there are two strategic adjustments that have been made regarding NextGen development since we spoke to you during the May User Group meeting in Indianapolis.
- We are integrating into the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Financials platform as a foundation for the Next Generation of DDI-Connect™
- We have partnered with a software development company, Leaf Software Solutions, in order to tap into their significant expertise and background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation projects
By standardizing on Microsoft Dynamics 365, we have reinforced and amplified all of the excitement, anticipation, and complimentary phrases you have heard previously regarding NextGen (e.g. ‘future-proofing’, speed of development, flexibility). Additionally, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials gives us Microsoft’s latest cloud / SaaS accounting solution enhancing the user experience going forward. With Leaf, we have a partner that aligns with our values and mission, while combining the requisite expertise and confidence in Microsoft Dynamics 365 software delivery.
These strategic adjustments position DDI-Connect™ to be modern, relevant and competitive in the marketplace. By integrating DDI’s Investment, Loan, and Fundraising functionality with an industry elite, fully robust CRM and Accounting solution – DDI-Connect™ will be technically advanced, functionally superior, and visually appealing.
At the upcoming DILA conference, we will be providing a more comprehensive overview of these strategic shifts during the Tuesday afternoon DDI User Group session.
We are excited about the Next Generation of DDI-Connect™ – and how it will continue to enable the mission of each of our client organizations. We look forward to seeing you at DILA!
Best regards,
Tom Ambler
