2020 has been a whirlwind for people and businesses across the nation, but for everyone at DDI, this year has been filled with incredible experiences and wonderful community. Here’s a look at what happened this past year and what’s ahead in 2021:
At DDI, We Work Hard and Play Hard
At DDI, even amidst our busy schedules, we know that it is important to have fun as a team. That’s why, during quarantine, we had bi-weekly “Water Cooler Meetings”. During these meetings, the team would share how they’re doing and what’s going on in their lives. Additionally, each meeting had a different theme – fiesta, Hawaiian, and more – to help the team lift their spirits! In addition to our water cooler meetings, the DDI team put their virtual poker-faces on for an online euchre tournament where our VP of Business Development, Patrick McHugh, took home first place! We’re thankful for a team that can work hard and play hard, even in challenging times.
DILA 2020: Different Circumstances, Same Great Community
When we heard that the annual DILA conference would go virtual, we feared that we would not experience the same warm fellowship that we experienced in previous years. However, nothing could be further from the truth! We love the DILA community and we loved gathering virtually with them. We enjoyed hearing how their ministries were affected by the pandemic, learning about best practices, and casting vision. Thank you DILA for overcoming many challenges to host the conference!
Success at DDI Virtual User Group Meeting 2020!
As restaurants, offices, and more started to close, we made the choice to host our annual User Group Meeting virtually. While the task of moving a conference online was daunting, our entire team faced the task head-on. The result: An incredible experience for our amazing clients! Even though nerves were high leading up to the conference, we were thrilled to be with our clients, we were engaged by the presentations, and we were excited to share what is in store for DDI. Up Next: DDI’s Half Century User Group Meeting!
As we head into the new year, our excitement grows for our Half Century User Group Meeting! DDI’s Half Century User Group will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis on June 22-23, 2021. At the end of the conference, we’ll be throwing our Half Century Celebration to celebrate YOU – our faithful community that has partnered with us over the years.
