Dear Clients,

4 times a year DDI shuts its doors to go out into the community and give back.  This quarter’s Day of Service is this Thursday, October 5th, 2017.  Everyone on the DDI team has elected to participate so we are going to have limited support on Thursday.  If you have an emergency, please either call the support line and when you get the recording you will need to follow the prompts to get forwarded to the after-hours line or you can call (317) 713-2472 directly. If you do call in, make sure you leave a message with your name and number.  Without that message, we will not be able to return your call. Thanks in advance for your patience!

Info about Q4 Day of Service:

DDI is helping the Dayspring Center.  They are an organization that helps homeless families in the Indianapolis area. They help around 450 children and 150 adults each year get off the streets and into permanent housing!

Info about Dayspring:

Dayspring Center provides emergency shelter, clothing, and three nourishing meals a day for homeless families with children in central Indiana. Families turn to us as a last resort; some to escape domestic abuse, others have experienced financial collapse, medical problems, or other crises that caused them to lose their home.

Dayspring effectively works to combat and prevent family homelessness by first, meeting their most immediate needs for food and shelter, then working with each family to address the issues that led them to their homelessness.

When it comes to homelessness, results are what matter most. Eighty percent (80%) of residents who complete the program at Dayspring Center move directly into permanent housing. More info can be found here: http://dayspringindy.org/about-us/

Thanks everyone!
