2019 Recap

As 2019 comes to a close, we love to look back and see how much we have grown. Through every challenge and success, we learned a lesson that made us better individuals and a better team. Thinking back on the year, there are several big moments that stand out.

Biggest Success of 2019: DDI User Group Meeting

DDI had many successes in 2019! In fact, one of our most favorite times of the year – the 2019 DDI User Group Meeting – was also one of our most successful. This year, the event was held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis, and we had the largest number of attendees ever. It was a great event for learning, fellowship, and fun. Now, we’re actively looking at spaces to host the event next year. We plan to send out a save the date in early 2020, so be on the lookout!

Group Outing: Indy Fuel Hockey

The DDI team spends time with each other both inside and outside the office. Earlier this year, we went to the Indy Fuel Hockey game. The whole DDI team attended, and it was a blast! We look forward to more outings in 2020 to help us bond as a team.

Day of Service: Gleaners Food Bank

DDI loves to give back to the community. So, back in May, our team helped people shop at the Gleaners Food Bank. During our time at Gleaners Food Bank, we also helped move, sort, collect, and pile for other families who needed this support. We’re looking forward to more service opportunities in 2020!

Biggest Challenge of 2019

This year, one of the largest challenges DDI faced was the rollout and development of our all-new DDI-Connect™ platform powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365.  This new platform will be the future for how Church Extension Funds process and manage their ministries. Also, in 2020, we will continue to invest in this new version of the platform.

Moving to Carmel

At DDI, we’re thankful for our close-knit team. One event that helped us grow as a team was our move to Carmel in August!  Because of the move, we are able to expand staff to meet the growing demand. Additionally, while we love having more room, many of the staff now enjoy a shorter commute to the office.

Onto 2020

We’re thankful for all the opportunities that 2019 brought to DDI. We’re looking forward to continually growing as a team as we serve our clients in 2020!
